Internships

Internships are practical studies that students have to complete to enhance their theoretical knowledge in practical circumstances. In addition, the students gain experience in their field and in the business sector. Internship process is organized by Internship Commissions in each department of the related faculties. The students studying at vocational schools are required to complete the work placement in the final term and this is called as 3+1 Education Model. In some Bachelor’s Degree Programmes students are required to do work placement training in 5th, 6th and 7th semesters. Some programmes offer 1-term work placement study in the business field which is called as 7+1 Education Model. Details might be found on the relevant info pack of the programme.
